Aquarium proud to sponsor Bring Your Dog to Work Day
Global pet insurance technology integrator Aquarium is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring this year’s ‘Bring Your Dog to Work Day’. The event takes place on June 24 and is, as the name suggests, an opportunity for staff to take their pooch with them to the office. Aquarium are pleased to be involved in what is a fun novel way of supporting a worthy cause; the dog rescue charity ‘All Dogs Matter’.
“As a company heavily involved in the pet industry, sponsoring Bring Your Dog to Work Day was a no-brainer for us,” says Aquarium’s Sales and Marketing Director, Mark Colonnese. “We’re all big animal lovers at Aquarium, so we’re delighted with the opportunity to help a very worthy cause.”
All Dogs Matter is a dog rescue charity, which seeks to rehome stray and unwanted dogs. All funds raised from Bring Your Dog to Work Day will go directly to the charity, and help them continue to rehome a significant proportion of the UK’s 102,363 stray dogs.
“As someone with two dogs of my own, the idea of stray dogs breaks my heart. As the figures show, the UK is facing something of a lost pets epidemic, and charity’s like All Dogs Matter are absolutely essential.” Mark says. “Sponsoring this event gives us a good chance to support their work, whilst also reminding consumers of the importance of microchipping, and insuring your pet. Many of the UK’s lost pets could be more easily traced to their owners if this was the case – something that would be beneficial for both owners and pet charities.”
Mark himself is looking forward to introducing his own dogs to the rest of the Aquarium team. “This is the first year where we’ll be taking part, and so of course, we have encouraged all staff to bring in their pooches. This year is the 20th anniversary of Bring Your Dog to Work Day, and we’re hoping to help make it the best yet!”
You can make a direct donation to All Dogs Matter by texting ADMS23 and your amount to 70070. Anyone donating £3 or more will be able to upload an image of their dog to be published on the ‘Dog with a Job’ Hall of Fame on the Bring Your Dog to Work Day website.
