The Role

We are looking for an experienced, confident and professional Business Application Consultant with a flair for delivering business process solutions using the Aquarium platform.

You will be responsible for building and delivering enterprise solutions, delivered on time and within budget. You will be an excellent and confident communicator, leading both technical briefings and business requirement gathering sessions. You will possess excellent written and oral skills in order to document requirements, author technical documents, attend and chair meetings as well as designing and documenting integration needs. 

The successful applicant will be asked to travel within the UK and occasionally abroad. 

 

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 2-3 years experience acting as a solution architect 
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Syntax
  • Proven solution engineering and real-world delivery experience
  • You are professional and articulate and have excellent written and oral technical communication skills
  • You can cope well under pressure, can multitask and can adapt to changing circumstances
  • You have sound judgement and will consider all facts before making a judgement
  • You have good organisational and time management skills and can prioritise effectively
  • You are personable, able to establish a good rapport quickly and establish trust in the long term
  • You are comfortable working independently to investigate and resolve unfamiliar problems

We are looking for an experienced, professional Technical Software Support Analyst with a flair for solving simple and complex platform and application problems.

You will be articulate and illustrate an ability to communicate with the client using a variety of different channels. You will possess a high degree of technical knowledge and be skilled in being able to ask relevant questions to derive a clear understanding in diagnosing and ultimately resolving issues.

 You will possess an aptitude and desire to learn new skills and technologies and will work closely with other internal departments within the business in order to identify root causes and resolve client issues quickly. 

 

Essential Skills and Experience

  • You have more than 2 years’ experience in a technical platform support role
  • You have a flair for investigative and problem solving skills
  • You have SQL programming skills and knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
  • You have initiative and ability to be productive without supervision
  • You have excellent attention to detail
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • You can recognise problems, gather facts, analyse information with excellent deductive reasoning skills

Junior/Graduate Developer

You will possess a good level of development knowledge and be skilled in being able to ask relevant questions to derive a clear understanding of the project in order to deliver the objectives. 

 

 Essential Skills and Experience

  • You have 1-2 years of .NET development experience in a commercial environment or/and a good degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • You have a basic understanding of some of the following technologies: NET, C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS and SQL Server
  • You have some understanding of source control solutions (Mercurial)
  • You have a good working knowledge of web user interface design (UID), software development process, Object-Oriented design (OOD)
  • You have excellent attention to detail
  • You can organise yourself on multiple work tasks and have the ability to prioritise them to meet specific deadlines
  • You are quick to grasp and understand new tasks and ideas
